Sa Harap ng Aking Pamahalaan

how can i forget to blog about this once in a lifetime experience?!
last September 12-19, 2010, our class, POLSAY QUATRO, went to Manila for an educational trip. . . the theme of the trip was "Sa Harap ng Aking Pamahalaan".

on our first day, we went to Malacanang Palace (we weren't able to meet the president because he was busy), Luneta Park, Quirino Grandstand (where the hostage taking happened), Intramuros and Fort Santiago.

second day of trip: Historical Museum, Supreme Court (all of us were wet because it rained and our bus was nowhere to be found, fun experience though) then we had dinner at Makati Shangri-La Hotel, SOSYAL!!! hahaha

third day: House of Representatives. we were able to meet Hon. Karlo Nograles, Hon. Mylene Garcia-Albano, Hon. Nelson Dayanghirang, Hon. Beng Climaco, former senator Rodolfo Biazon, and House Speaker Sonny Belmonte. we also went to the Senate. we met 17 out of 24 senators (Sen. Aquino is now "PNOY", Sen. Lacson is missing, Sen. Trillanes is in Jail, Sen. Defensor-Santiago was in an indefinite leave, the other senators were just absent. hahaha)

fourth day: Camp Aguinaldo, AFP Hospital, Army Museum and Enchanted Kingdom

fifth day: lunch at Norberto's Grill with Sen. TG Guingona, ice skating and shopping at MOA and then went to Starcity

sixth and last day: mall hopping (Sangri-La Plaza, Gateway, Trinoma and Greenhills) then at night, partied at Harbour Club and Bliss at Tomas Morato. woohoo!

















it’s been a month yet the memories are still fresh as if it only happened yesterday.
one of the best trips ever! a once in a lifetime experience. ooohhh! i miss! :((

SEM ENDER!!!

ONE SEMESTER DOWN!!! ONE LAST TO GO!!! woohoo!!!

so, this is gonna be my last sem break, i hope, since next sem, if i do well on my studies, i will be graduating already. . . yaaay!!!

since this will be the last, as i've said, i would want to make it really fun and memorable. . .

as soon as we finished all our exams, me and my classmates decided to go on an outing. originally, we were supposed to go to SAMAL ISLAND. unfortunately, not all my classmates can come for some reasons. instead, we decided to go to Mergrande. it may not be as exciting as it would be if we go to SAMAL, what really counts is the fun and bonding that we will have as a class, especially because this is gonna be our last sem break together. . .

so many things happened during our overnight stay at Mergrande. . . whatever those happenings are, SA AMIN NA LANG YUN!!! hahaha XD

after a CRAZY exam!

soooo. it was our last exam of the sem. . .

we were all expecting that this exam is gonna be really difficult since it is already the final exam and, it's INTRODUCTION TO LAW, for pete's sake!!! hahaha

but, we never thought that it would be that DIFFICULT!!! like the questions came from the BAR EXAM questions. . . what the!!!

whatever did our class do to deserve such exam?! uuuggghhh

oh well. . . we can not do anything about it anymore. hmpf

so, as i finish that one hell of an exam, i went out with some friends to chill, relax and unwind. . . i deserve it anyway! hahaha

had dinner at McDonald's, then chill at Blugre, MTS. . . here are some pics :))

Huling Hirit sa Tag-init!

okay! for the last time, before i officially go back to school, i went on a vacation with my mom. we went to one of the most beautiful places in the Philippines, and one of the most expensive too, no less than PALAWAN! on our first day, we went o El Nido. stayed there overnight. went island hopping and lotsa swimming. then went to Port Barton. again, stayed there overnight. nothing much was done in our stay there aside from going, well of course, swimming. haha. then off to Sabang, where the Subterranean National River Park or the ever famous underground river of Palawan is located. it is a once in a lifetime experience to be able to go to one of the finalists of the new seven wonders of the modern world. after, went back to Puerto Princesa. stayed there for two nights. we went on a city tour. visited Iwahig (the kulungan), crocodile farm, Mitra's Ranch, Baker's Hill, Binuhatan and their Baywalk. after 5 days in Palwan, we went on a side trip in Manila. went to Starcity were the cast and crew of Momay are shooting. fun experience. then went shopping, shopping and oh! did i say shopping?! hahaha. then saturday, at last! home sweet home to Davao. i so missed our humble and simple abode.

so that's basically it. i had so much fun. great trip slash vacation. i missed the first week of class though. hahaha. but it's all worth it! one for the books! :))

haaaaay! i just really love to travel. whether within the Philippines or outside the country. whether with my family or my friends. traveling is my hobby. fun! hahaha

i'm part of history! :))

yesterday, May 10, 2010 was the national election. it was my first time to vote and like all the other first time voters, i was so excited especially that the election is automated. the only thing that i didn't really like about yesterday's election is that people have to fall in line that barely moves and wait for hours. in my case i waited 5 long hours before the PCOS machine said Congratulations! and finally my right index finger was inked. many lost their patience and decided not to vote anymore. i feel bad for them. their one vote could change this nation. but on the other hand, everything went smoothly. it was, somehow, a peaceful election. except for some complains that i've heard. the counting and canvasing is faster than expected.

i am very happy that i participated in this history making. i have done my duty as a humble citizen of this nation. congratulations to all the elected officials. may they bring betterment in our country. and as for all the Filipino citizens, let us support our new elected officials regardless if we like them or not. let us respect each other. God Bless us all and God Bless Philippines! i'm proud to be Pinoy! :))

nail art madness!

for so long i've been wanting to try that nail art thingy. i actually tried it once but that was two years ago. today, i thought of searching some videos on youtube for some simple nail art tutorials. and luckily, i found a lot. so i decided to actually try it. and i did. here's a picture of the first ever nail art i did myself. it's not perfect but it's good for first timers like me. hahaha. now, i'm really planning to buy a nail art kit or machine :))

"wardrobe malfunction!"

today was not the same boring day that i have since summer started. i was able to go to the mall, thanks to our thesis data gathering, hahaha. met up with my girlfriend Jamaica. ate at McDo and walk around. after, she decided to buy a "city shorts" from the department store. since we had no fun, we took pictures inside this beautiful fitting room, that looked like a celebrity's dressing room, while she was trying out some clothes. here are the captured moments of our "wardrobe malfunction" tripping at the mall. hahaha :D

i am but a traveler

since i am new to this blogging thing, i am not able to share my travel to different place here in the Philippines and outside the country as well. if you have read my description, i stated there that i really love to travel. last year, 2009, was one of the best years of my life because i was able to travel in different places, such as Manila, Baguio, Boracay and fabulous Hong Kong and Macau. i never thought that i would be going to all these places altogether in just a year. it was such a great experience. i know this wouldn't be the last time that i will be visiting these places. hopefully next time, i'll be with someone special. REALLY SPECIAL. hahaha

so far, it's a boring summer :((

gaaah! ever since summer started, i never had a "REAL" vacation or a get away or an outing with friends or shopping or just even go to a mall and hang out with random people. the only exciting thing i did so far was to go wake boarding with two of my barakadas Jamaica and Mykel. after that, i was stuck, and i mean stuck, at home. and i still dunno when i'm gonna have the summer vacation that i badly want. boo!
